Part 1:
(1) Two hour presentation student assessment
I think I should get a P on my two hour because I followed all the guidelines and did what I was suppose to. Also I believe the material I taught was appropriate and the students learned a lot from it.
(2) What are you most proud of in your 2 hour and why?
I am most proud of the accomplishment of being done. With all the effort and research I put into it I feel accomplished that I was able to do the two hour without hesitation.
Part 2:
(1) What did you think you did well on in the project? What could you have done better? Please explain.
I feel that I did well on completing my service learning. I learned a lot from it and got the basis to my answers from doing it. Without it I wouldn't have been able to complete this project. It was also a great challenge to loom at cricket from a whole different as a coach instead of a player. I feel I could've researched more on things I didn't already know about cricket and have expanded my knowledge to a completely new extent. I'm not saying I didn't learn anything from this because I learned and accomplished a whole lot. But I could've took this to a whole new level with more research.
(2) What is your EQ and what is the best answer to your EQ?
What is the most important skill needed in becoming a successful cricket player?
My best answer is fast reflexes with quick body movement.
(3) How has the last month of culminating events (e.g I-Search, Two-Hour, Exit etc) affected your answer to your EQ? Has it changed? Why or why not?
From these events, mostly the iSearch paper, I was able to clarify my answers more. They didn' change but they were backed up a lot more from it and I was able to fully understand why exactly I chose them and the real importance of them.
(4) What suggestions do you have in order to improve the senior project?
I would just say start the advisory meetings a lot sooner so that way students have more of an opportunity to be able to ask questions and clarify everything and have better understanding because the advisory meeting helped me a lot, so I think it could help more if there was more time to it.
(5) Overall Senior Project Assessment
P- because I believe I did follow all the guidelines but I know I could've done better on a few things. So I think overall I deserve a P- .

The most important thing I learned from this experience is, it takes a lot to be a coach and it's a completely different aspect of cricket. By being a coach, well assistant coach, I had to find exactly what each player needed improvement on and how to help them become better. The coach needs to teach the team how to work together, game plans, batting line ups, fielding drills, and proper technique. By coaching the youth division 4, I am now able to coach myself in better ways.
Applied
This helped answer my EQ because by coaching the kids I was able to tell exactly what skills have more importance over others, and exactly what skills were needed. I was able to see cricket from a whole different view, and instead of being the player, I was able to notice different things that went on. I was able to notice what the players lacked and what was needed.

2 hour Presentation Rough Draft
(1) What is your sponge activity?
For my sponge activity I plan on asking the students what they know about cricket. I will then have them distinguish they similarities and differences of cricket and baseball to see how much they know.
(2) What do you plan to do and say in the introduction?
(2) What do you plan to do and say in the introduction?
Introduce myself and topic, the state EQ, "What is the best skill needed in becoming a successful cricket player?" Define: Best meaning the most efficient thing you can do, skill meaning strategy or quality, cricket the sport, and player meaning person who plays the game.
I chose cricket as my senior project because I love playing cricket, I've been playing for the past 4 years and I love it.
My plan is to teach the class the best skill needed and how to execute them, I plan on doing this by talking, activity, talking, activity, talking, activity.
(3) What do you plan to say in your foundation?
For my foundation, I will give background information on cricket. I am going to start off by explaining the history of it. Then I will explain more about my sponge activity and tell them the exact differences and similarities of baseball and cricket, I will then explain the basics of how to play it.
(4) What will your 2 or 3 answers be for your 2 hour?
(4) What will your 2 or 3 answers be for your 2 hour?
- Fast reflexes with quick body movement.
- Eye contact on the ball at all times.
- Maintaining balance while preforming complex techniques.
(5) What activities will you do for each answer and why?
- Fast Reflexes - Play Dodgeball, because if the students play dodgeball they will be able to use the techniques of how to have quick reflexes that I taught them while playing.
- Eye Contact - I will show videos of a bowler balling a ball but not showing the end result then have the students guess where the ball would go by using their eye contact skills. I am doing this so they can see how important eye contact is while playing.
- Maintaining Balance - I am planning on having the students walk on a small wood piece while using proper techniques on catching a soft ball, they are going to start off by going slowly, but by the end we are going to pick up the pace. By doing this, the students will be able to know how balance is so difficult and important.
(6) How do you plan to conclude your 2 hour?
I am first going to talk about my best answer and why its the best, then going to state my three most meaningful sources, then i am going to talk about my end product.
(7) How do you plan to decorate the room?
I have no clue yet.. :/
(8) What supplies/resources will you need to make your 2 hour possible?
I will need soft dodgeballs, cones, long thin wood piece, and soft catching balls(maybe hackie sacks).
