5 Minute Presentation

Rough Draft:

Objective- Students will learn about the position of wicket keeping in cricket.

Procedure-

  1. Introduce myself and my topic (cricket).
  2. Introduce what I am going to talk about in my 5 min presentation (wicket keeping). Which is a position in cricket.
  3. Explain what a wicket keeper is and what they do.
  4. Hand out a paper to each group that has field positions on it and show where the keeper stands.
  5. Show and explain the equipment a wicket keeper uses (helmet, gloves, pads). I will also have pictures of a fully equipped wicket keeper on every group table, so they can see how the keeper looks.
  6. Ask and/or answer students questions about what they learned about wicket keeping.
Check for Understanding- I am going to make sure the audience understands my presentation is by asking or answering questions.

Resources/Materials-
  • Papers with all the fielding positions on every groups desk.
  • Pictures of wicket keepers.
  • Equipment
    • Helmet
    • Gloves
    • Pads

1 comment:

  1. Too much information at once. Remember that what you talk about in your 5min cannot be re-presented during your 2hr.

You should choose a cricket position, and then give a examples of famous people who played that position, and well as why their games were so memorable.
